Description

Full Time, Fixed Term for 2 years.

This is an exciting opportunity training to be a housing officer, on a Housing/Property Management apprenticeship and working within the Estate Management team at Bristol City Council.

You will be working towards managing a patch in Bristol supporting residents to maintain their tenancies, effectively dealing with cases of antisocial behaviour and breaches of tenancy and helping to ensure estates are places where tenants feel proud to live.

The apprenticeship programme runs alongside the on-the-job work and provides you with a unique opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the social housing sector and reflective housing practice and other essential practice skills required for a housing officer.

The course helps you to understand how our organisation fits into the bigger picture and gain a better insight into housing in the UK.

This is a full time position that will suit an ambitious individual looking to start their career in social housing, working in a challenging and rewarding role.

You should have good inter-personal skills and be able to work with a broad range of people to ensure tenants are supported to successfully maintain a tenancy.

You will collaborate with partner agencies, support services and the police and demonstrate experience of equalities and diversity issues.
