We are looking for a Part-Time Cook here at Dairyland Farm Park Newquay to work 3 days per week term-time and 5 days per week in the School Holidays.
The Dairyland team are looking to recruit a Cook to work in our busy Food and Beverage department.Food and beverage are an extremely important part of the business and we are looking to develop this further in the future with additional outlets across the site.
The Cook will take an active role in this project as well as being key to the success of the current offering.
As a Cook you will lead the catering team and will be responsible for food preparation, presentation, customer service, record management and compliance, food hygiene standards, food allergen information and monitoring, health and safety standards.
Key skills include:
Previous experience managing kitchens in a similar role, have an excellent knowledge of planning and preparing nutritious, tasty and attractive Home Cooked style dishes, experience in ensuring the highest level of compliance regarding Health and Safety regulations, have experience of working with strict dietary and allergy requirements, have a thorough understanding of costing, order management and cost control, have experience of managing and maintaining stock control and wastage records, have experience of organising and building catering teams.
