Job Description:

Come and join our friendly and supportive team.

We operate as a national town planning team and as a more traditional regional planning practice - you could be working on both a big infrastructure DCO and a local development project in your regional office.

You will work with leading experts in a vast array of disciplines in your local office and nationally, helping to fast-track your career development.

We work flexibly, UK-wide, delivering much of our work remotely whilst benefiting from a strong planning team culture in one of our 12 main UK offices.

You can develop your own interests and you will be encouraged to contribute to the growth of the planning practice at all stages in your career, for example by taking responsibility for innovation initiatives, business development, quality and collaboration.

You will be supported by a Planning line manager and a separate mentor, to ensure that your career aspirations benefit from experienced advice and are captured in a Career Development Plan.

AECOM is a top ten UK Planning consultancy by size, employing around 70 Chartered or Licentiate Planners, practicing in all areas of the discipline.

AECOM is also a worldwide leader in environmental and engineering consultancy and working as a planning consultant within AECOM means access to some of the most high profile and prestigious development projects in the UK, working with colleagues operating at the cutting edge of their disciplines as part of the largest UK environmental consultancy.
