Support Worker - Uphall, Livingston, West Lothian

16 hours per week

£10.50 per hour

House of multiple occupancy - not care home.

The Role


We support a diverse group of individuals to live an ordinary life with bespoke levels of support in various areas in Uphall, Livingston.

Our Support Workers provide a person centred approach in providing quality support, which makes our service very flexible and adaptable to each individual's needs.

We support people to enhance their quality of life at home and within their community.


Staff may work with individuals with a learning disability working in the person's own home ensuring opportunities to reach their full potential are available.


Support needs can range from:

enabling a person to participate in their personal care, medication, emotional support, daily living activities, social support and sleepover cover.


The role of a Support Worker is integral to the quality of support provision and can be rewarding and inspiring.

You will support people to Identify and work towards meaningful outcomes and to participate in their community and develop new and maintain existing relationships.


Hours of work are flexible to meet the needs of the people we support and we are able to offer our staff flexible working hours to support with work/life balance.


You will work as part of a team, as well as, independently and using your own initiative whilst ensuring the needs of the person you are supporting, are met.

The team offer support with personal care for five gentleman with medication, dietary needs, appointments and maintaining their home and finances and social support.

Shift pattern 7.30-3pm, 3pm-10pm, 4pm-8pm, 9am-7pm. There may be the need to cover the rare occasional night shift.

An enhanced PVG is required for this role.
