Spectacle Glazing Technician
Our fantastic client in Gloucester is looking for an experienced Spectacle Glazing Technician on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join a start-up team on their journey of growth, in a role that you can really make your own, blendingstate of the art production equipment with traditional craft skills.


Responsibilities of Spectacle Glazing Technician

  • Research and development of new products
  • Production of finished spectacles though all processes including final set up and verification of spectacle specification.
  • Utilise new CNC machinery, training others when necessary
  • Ensure monitoring of medical device regulations and safe working practices at all times
  • Ensure working matches to good environmental standards

Experience of Spectacle Glazing Technician

  • Substantial experience within a similar role involving spectacle production/ ophthalmic manufacturing
  • Fantastic timemanagement skills
  • Computer literate
  • Fantastic communication skills

Salary:
£15.50ph, negotiable depending on experience
