The Day Case Unit is looking to appoint three Band 6 coordinators on a permanent basis. The applicants are required to be enthusiastic, flexible and have some surgical management experience ,
preferably within the Day Case setting.


We are a highly motivated team who have achieved high standards of quality patient care which has been recognised within our Staff Excellence Awards and Chief Nurse Awards.

We follow the Trusts CARE values and ensure patient safety is a priority.


The ward currently has the capacity to see approximately two hundred patients per week, whom undergo a wide variety of surgical procedures.

These cover at least ten different specialities so every day is different and the job role is varied. The ward is a very fast paced and an exciting working
environment. The applicant will have excellent time management skills, be flexible and work well within a team.


As a coordinator on the Day Case Unit you will be responsible for the day to day management and clinical leadership of the ward, including the provision of high quality evidence based care.
