Description

We are an engineering company providing bespoke products and installations for Royal Naval Vessels and carry out works on Naval Base infrastructure.

We wish to recruit permanent Fabricator/Welder to join our Constructive team.

You will be able to work to a least two of the following qualifications MMA, TIG, FCAW, MAG on a range of materials.

Coding to Lloyds would be an advantage.

Compliance with legislation/regulation, standards, customer specifications, HSEQ policies and procedures (including Risk Assessments and Method Statements) is essential at all times.

You will also be expected to comply with our management systems processes to ensure accurate and auditable project documentation.

The role is based at our Portsmouth Office but you will also be required to work on various vessels or sites - this may involve travel within the UK or overseas.

You will have:
- a recognised qualified trade, training and qualifications applicable to a Fabricator/welder
- previous welding experience
- flexibility with regards to working overtime and travel
- experience of working on vessels or sites and/or experience of working in marine environment is desirable but not essential

Please note:

due to the location of our Portsmouth business unit and the sites we access, you will need to go through a security clearance process.

Site specific training for restricted areas will be provided

Salary:
£16.33 per hour
