    Supply Chain Manager

    Anderson Knight is currently recruiting a Supply Chain Manager on a full-time permanent basis for one of our clients based in Glasgow.

    About the Role:

    The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing and optimising all aspects of the supply chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships.

    • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet business objectives and improve efficiency.
    • Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
    • Manage logistics and distribution operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
    • Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
    • Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, production, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business goals.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Lead and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
    • Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance, metrics, and initiatives.

    This role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

    Key Skills and Qualifications:

    * Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.

    * Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies.

    * Excellent leadership and communication skills.

    * Ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.

    * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    * Experience working with ERP systems and other supply chain software.

    * Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
