Position Overview:
Town Planner


As a Town Planner you will play a key role in the planning and development process, working closely with clients, government agencies, and project teams to ensure that projects align with regulatory requirements, community needs, and environmental considerations.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Town Planner who specializes in navigating the complexities of urban planning.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conducting research and analysis of planning policies, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop comprehensive planning strategies.
  • Engaging with clients, local authorities, and community stakeholders to address concerns and promote effective communication.
  • Providing expert advice on planning issues and attending public hearings and meetings as required.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, legislative changes, and best practices in town planning.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in town planning
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional planning regulations and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in GIS and other planningrelated software is a plus.

Salary:
£45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
