Technical Claims Specialist, Hybrid Homeworking - Bradford

Resolve Recruitment is partnering with one of the largest vehicle warranty companies globally. Due to internal changes, our client is looking to hire Technical Claims Specialists to work both from home and their Bradford offices after completing the training period.

Overview:
Handling claims and incoming phone inquiries from customers, dealerships, and end users, while consistently delivering top-notch customer service by meeting and surpassing customer expectations. Utilizing expert technical knowledge to approve claims and negotiate payments for mechanical breakdowns, parts, and labor rates, often involving substantial amounts.

Duties:
  • Ensure proactive and efficient processing of all telephone claims within given authority limits and in accordance with company policies. Keep claimants updated on claim status, especially in case of rejection or adjustment.
  • Process claims payments as requested within authority limits and following company policy and product terms and conditions.
  • Utilize technical expertise to make informed claims decisions.
  • Provide a consistently superior customer experience, ensuring all customer needs are met, questions answered, and decisions clearly communicated.
  • Adhere to all company policies in place, including information security, email policy, and computer usage policy.

Required Experience:
  • Hold a City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 certificate or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Engineering (Essential).
  • Prior experience in a Motor Vehicle Engineering environment (Essential).
  • Experience in an FCA regulated environment (Desirable but not necessary).
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills (Essential).
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment (Desirable but not necessary).

Hours & Package:
  • Competitive basic salary of £28,875 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, between 08:30 and 40 hours per week
