Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Create and implement effective strategies for customer outreach and acquisition.
- Work with the sales manager to handle inbound and outbound sales enquiries. Arrange and execute sales calls to understand the client's needs and close deals.
- Create quotes and itineraries to assist with the sales process.
- Work towards achieving target net and gross profit revenues.
- Assist with the operational organisation to ensure the smooth running of trips.
- Maintain expert knowledge of UniLife destinations, student experience, and travel trends.
- Support the creation and expansion of marketing material and plans.
- Manage and oversee UniLife's social media presence to promote our student travel programs.
- Manage multiple accounts and maintain direct communication with clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our student travel programs and drive sales.
- Develop and maintain social media accounts and online presence.
- Analyse and report on sales and marketing performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Attend University welcome fairs and industry events to promote our brand and generate leads.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of our services to clients.
Person Specification
Essential Characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Ability to work in highpressure environments
- Excellent organisation and the ability to multitask efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, social media platforms & Techliterate.
- Willingness to travel and work on evenings/weekends when necessary
Desirable Characteristics:
- Passion for travel and working with students
- Knowledge and experience of Student Unions (Membership/committee positions in Societies or sports clubs are highly desirable)
- Experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the travel industry.
- Experience in developing successful marketing strategies and achieving revenue targets
- Experience working with Canva to create digital marketing collateral
- Ability to lead large groups
Salary:
£21,000 + Competitive commission structure

Requirements:
- 9:30 am 5:30 pm Monday to Friday core working hours (37.5 hours per week)
- There will be some requirements to work on evenings and weekends (time off in lieu can be accrued)
- Ability to Commute to Nottingham office 3 days per week (2 days remote work per week)
Interviews will take place w/c the 7th of June. This position will have a start date of the 4th of September 2023.

From £21,000.00 per year
