CMA are collaborating on an exclusive basis with a growing construction business who is a well-known brand within the local area.

Due to growth, they are growing the team and this Management Accountant is a large part of that.

Playing a big role with theproduction of management accounts but also interacting with key internal and external stakeholders in a business partnering capacity.

This is a great opportunity for somebody with some management accounts experience looking to grow into a senior managementaccountant.


What will the Management Accountant role involve?

  • Take ownership of the production of management accounts for three business entities including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and profit and loss;
  • You will take a key role in business partnering with key internal stakeholders assisting them with the budgeting and forecasting process as well as providing finance expertise during meetings;
  • Assist with mentoring and leadership of junior members of the team.
  • Part qualified or Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is essential;
  • Previous experience in a management account role including production of monthly pack to include commentary;
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills;
  • Strong IT skills including intermediate Excel.
