Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for a new career opportunity?Our client are currently recruiting for Field Service Engineers to work in specific areas across the UK.
Salary and hours of work:
- 37.5 Hours per week some weekends required (working 5 in 7 days over the course of the week, will include weekends on a rota basis)
- Benefits include full expenses paid including breakfast and evening meal for overnight stays
- Overnight stays are only as and when needed

The Role:
The role requires previous Field Service Engineer experience and flexibility:
- You will report to the Service Manager
- Attend various client sites as required, NHS environment
- Adhoc assembly and report work, warehouse based
- Commission new units on site as required
- Air flow testing
- Electrical and Control
- Using variations of equipment including; micro manometer, DPC, smoke generator, hot wire anemometer, photometer, balometer and vane anemometer etc.
- Attend training as required to achieve relevant skills for the industry
- Overnight stays when working longdistance
Requirements:
- Attend various Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Sites nationwide as required by the business.
- Working week is a 5 from 7 contract which includes weekends using a rota system.
- Whilst representing M.A.T. carries out a professional and friendly attitude to all clients.
- Manages their time according to the service diary planner.
- Must carry a mobile phone at all times so they are contactable.
- Clean Driving licence
- Preferable electrical/control biased
- Experienced in Air Flow testing using the following variations of equipment
- Whilst on site advise clients of additional works we can be undertaken and liaise with Office staff for issue of quotations etc
- Attend sites to commission new units as required
- Carry out adhoc assembly and repair works in the base warehouse
- Knowledge of relevant ISO & HTM standards
- Prepared to attend training as required to achieve relevant skills for the industry [CIBSE/S2C2/Clean Room Society/AP]
Skills required:
- Full Clean Driving licence
- Experience in AHU/Air Conditioning Units
- Time management
- Organised
- Knowledge of relevant ISO and HTM Standards
- Ventilation experience is desirable
