Sales Executive, Nr Royston
£40K - £45K plus Commission OTE £60K
Responsibilities:

- Review and advise (where appropriate) on customer general insurance requirements
- Maintain own knowledge and skills to sell professionally and compliantly, delivering a consistently good experience to customers to meet the requirements and standards of the company and their regulators
- Plan, prospect, select and sell General Insurance products to target customers that are designed to meet their longterm needs, are compliant with sales quality and advice standards and regulatory requirements, to meet personal and branch targets
- Identify and initiate crossselling opportunities and activities to new and existing customers
- Review, evaluate and process the portfolio of existing customers to ensure retention, and the generation of new business to maintain compliant and profitable growth and expand the company's reputation for excellent service
- Collate, analyse, and evaluate relevant customer personal, business, and financial information to complete Fact Finds, provide information, and recommend products and services that meet their needs in line within licensed authority
- Record and track contacts, prospects, and sales to maximise conversion ratio of leads to sales and provide a robust record of advice given and accurate efficient policy information.
- Identify, develop, and generate Life and Risk Management Service leads from existing and new customers to meet relevant targets and reinforce the relationship with and the reputation of the company
- Office based role but will involve on the road selling.
Person Specification:
-
Must have previous selling experience from an insurance background
- Be able to communicate effectively, both in written format and verbal expression
- Be able to problem solve, use own initiative and judgement
- Demonstrate attributes of honesty, integrity, due skill, care, and diligence at all times
- Possess good IT skills to use Microsoft programmes and specific inhouse systems such as iFaces, iAchieve, and TRACE.
- Develop and sustain effective working relationships where applicable with customers, the Agency team and relevant company staff
- Possess good sales and customer service skills
