The Faculty of Business, Law and Politics is looking to recruit a part-time hours) Administrator for its Academic Services team. This is a key role in providing a high level of administrative support to the University.


Duties may include:

  • Supporting the delivery of Welcome Week and student enrolment processes.
  • Using the student information system, updating student records, inputting marks, making credit checks, recording module choices, recording assessment submissions and allocations of Academic Support Tutors, and producing reports as required.
  • Undertaking reception duties as required, and acting as a first point of contact for student feedback, including complaints.
  • Producing and compiling documentation in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Providing administrative support for processes relating to the registration, audit and quality assurance of placement providers, liaising with placement providers and working within regulatory guidelines
  • Providing support to international students, ensuring compliance with regulations (eg Tier 4)
  • Administering processes related to study abroad and exchange programmes.
  • Using the university's document management system, the Virtual Learning Environment and other relevant repositories.
  • Providing administrative support to a wide range of employability and skills activities, promoting job opportunities, competitions and ementoring schemes.
  • Administering activity in relation to student feedback servicing of student staff forums and supporting student survey campaign.
