ICT TECHNICIAN (1st/2nd Level) - EDUCATION - Sth LONDON - Up to £33K + ex bens

This position will offer you the chance to develop/enhance your IT skills by taking advantage of the Continued Personal Development embedded in the Trust - not just for you, but all the IT Team.

If you are looking to map out more of a career then take note; my client will train you in the IT accreditation that YOU want.

You will not be siloed into position - you will be getting to see IT environments at different locations within this small MAT.In the 'down-times' you will get the opportunity to be involved in project-work - It's time to move away from the 'comfort-zone'.

Duties Include:

Find and implement solutions to resolve issues within the school's SLA
Support with administration of IT systems and tools
First escalation point for any issues the IT Technician can't resolve
Advanced configuration of network devices
Technical assistance for both the Service delivery manager and Trust IT Services team
Escalate calls that are outside of their ability within an hour
Inform the IT Services Manager of potential issues immediately
Record defective equipment within the helpdesk, on the day it is discovered
Replace defective equipment with a spare if the defect will take longer than a day to resolve
Assist with relocation hardware when required
Update hardware and software inventory
