Due to team growth and expansion, a Client Rates Management Analyst role is available for this world leading Law firm.

This firm has developed an enviable reputation for advising world-leading corporate and financial institutions across some of the world'sleading companies and financial institutions including a significant number listed on the Fortune 100, FTSE 100 and DAX.

Covering a broad range of practices including Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Intellectual Property, Joint Ventures & Strategic Alliances,Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate, the business operates across Asia, the Americas and Europe.

You will work directly with senior stakeholders acrossvarious business areas supporting lawyers in relation to managing the rate and commercial aspects of individual client and matter agreements and pricing/fee proposals.


Key Responsibilities of the Client Rates Management Analyst

  • Summarise the financial impact of existing client rate arrangements and develop and recommend revisions as agreements are renewed
  • Manage and maintain pricing agreement information in the company's Global Pricing System
  • Serve as the initial/primary point of contact for assigned clients on rate, pricing and reporting issues and coordinate client facing reporting
  • Review engagement letters for new matters to ensure proper tracking and setup
  • Coordinate and execute the annual standard rate setting process in the U.K.
  • Working directly with Firm Partners to develop rate, fee estimates and pricing options in response to client RFP's and adhoc requests
  • Prepare analysis to support proposed fee arrangements, including financial impact and viability of proposed pricing arrangements
  • Post matter financial analysis and provision of associated pricing and business insight to partners, pricing and business development teams

Skills & Attributes of the Client Rates Management Analyst

  • A degree or equivalent experience required in accounting, finance or business
  • Experience of working within a partnership essential, preferably a law firm
  • Exposure to pricing decisions and fee negotiations an advantage
  • Prior Experience Aderant or Microsoft SQL are desirable
  • Comfortable and credible in communication with a wide variety of personnel and personalities including partners, business development personnel and accounting staff
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, including an ability to work across geographical borders
  • A finance / accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA) would be an advantage
  • Demonstrate ability to be flexible and to adapt quickly to change in a high pressure, deadlinedriven environment
