We have an exciting, new opportunity to join our IT team as the Senior Data Specialist.


Act as a champion and change lead for Data and Digitalisation initiatives in the organisation and promote presumed open data principle.

Support the Head of Data in bringing the right business and technology stakeholders to the table to make Cadent data more accessible and discoverable and represent the voice for Potential Data Users in defining digital products and services.


Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for updating and monitoring of the delivery of Cadent Digitalisation Strategy.
  • Accountable for maturing and continuous improvement of Cadent Open Data Triage process and related documentation and designing the methods to embed the processes across the organisation.
  • Monitoring Cadent compliance with DSAP and DBP principles. Responsible for defining prototypes of new Data
  • Assets and prioritisation of the Data Asset Backlog.
  • Accountable for operating, managing and maturing Cadent data sharing and open data triage processes in accordance to the Data Best Practice guidance. Designing appropriate Cadent Data Assets in accordance with the demand and sensitivity of Cadent Data.
  • Accountable for promoting and educating Digital Working Group in the operation and requirements Presumed Open Principle and Digitalisation Strategy and Action Plan.
  • Responsible for designing and executing the stakeholder engagement strategy ; managing stakeholder expectations and priorities and serving Cadent Data Assets to Data Consumers.

About You

  • Educated to degree level in a STEM related field. Experience of working in delivery or regulation role with
familiarity of data extraction, data curation and analysis, process development, stakeholder management
and document/policy writing.

  • Ability to convey regulatory standards to processes, standards and principles, acting as educator within
organisation.

  • Strong Leadership skills required
