SQL DBA - Flexible / Home working


A major UK player across their industry, my client boasts impressive results over many years and are looking to continue with that.


They are investing heavily and embarking on a range of projects / initiatives that involve the upgrade, enhancement and implementation of key systems across various business functions.


Resultantly, we have an excellent opportunity for an established SQL DBA to form part of their established team and to play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of the SQL environment.


Offering a flexible / home base location, this role provides long-term security, progression and opportunity with an employee focussed client.


Key duties also include:

  • Monitoring and resolving performance issues
  • Management of the SQL databases, including performance tuning, security, backups, recovery, etc
  • Research and recommend new products or projects to improve / develop the SQL Infrastructure
  • Capacity planning to ensure that the SQL Infrastructure can handle future project work and system demands
