£40,000 - £50,000 per annum + benefits (Permanent):


Colchester, Essex:


We are currently seeking a talented Building Surveyor to join our client, a thriving multi disciplinary consultancy based in Colchester.

As a leading multi-disciplinary practice, we work on a diverse range of projects across both the public and private sectors.

Responsibilities:


  • Undertaking building surveys, manage projects, report writing, building pathology and defect diagnosis
  • Providing project management and contract administration services
  • Preparing schedules of condition and dilapidation reports
  • Undertaking measured surveys and producing drawings using AutoCAD
  • Advising clients on building regulations and planning requirements

Requirements:


  • MRICS qualification preferred but not essential
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying
  • Solid understanding of building construction and property law
  • Previous experience in the public sector projects
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
