Quarter is looking for an
HR and Admin Assistant to join their head office HR team.

The successful applicant will will have responsibility for a variety of HR administration duties and would suit someone who is looking to progress in the HR world This role will, once training has been completed, grow into more of a generalist HR position.


Details of the HR and Admin Assistant role:

  • Full time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Working hours are usually 9am 5pm (with a 30 min paid lunch break), but some flexibility exists (8am 4pm or 10am 6pm would both be considered)
  • Package of £24,000 (made up of salary of £22,000 per annum plus on target earnings bonus of £2,000).
  • Clifton office location (employee bike storage is available, but car parking is not available)
  • This is a hybrid role once training is complete (estimated to be after 2 months) with up to 2 days per week worked remotely

As HR and Admin Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Updating employee files on our HRIS (currently People HR) including: onboarding paperwork, leaver paperwork, pay review updates
  • Managing the Quarter Absence processes, arranging review meetings once triggers have been met
  • Assisting the Head of HR in managing the Quarter appraisal process
  • Arranging and holding company employee reviews and exit interviews
  • Preparing relevant interview paperwork and creating Zoom links ensuring all parties have correct information ahead of the interview
  • Scanning and filing as necessary (not too much we promise most HR related tasks have moved online now)
  • Running Induction once trained
  • Reviewing new starter training to ensure it is on target
  • Communication of company benefits
  • Ad hoc HR related tasks
  • Ad hoc HR projects to support the HR Manager and Talent Manager
**Who do we need as
HR and Admin Assistant?**: - A people person You must have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills

  • You'll be able to quickly identify what's the priority in a list of tasks
  • You will love a bit of admin and will thrive on 'ticking things off a list' accurately and on time
  • Competent using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel mainly) and able to pick up other software quickly
  • Able to juggle different projects simultaneously
  • Able to take initiative
  • A problem solver, an inquisitive nature and a good memory are all useful attributes
  • Someone fun this role is busy, but satisfying and we like to have fun whilst doing it
  • Discreet you will be privy to confidential information every day
Previous experience in HR is useful, but not necessary it is more important that you fit in with the team, can multitask and communicate with all levels of our company This is a fun role within a busy department - no two days are the same and you'll be an integral part in us achieving our 2023 and 2024 goals
