Description

Our client in Huntingdon require Carpenters/Joiners to go on site.


This is for a client based in Huntingdon that is looking for a Carpenter/Joiner to work with them on a 10 week project.

CL1/CL2 clearance is desired but not essential as the client can get you security cleared.

10 week project with potential move after completion.

Negotiable rates depending on experience.

working within Huntingdon prison.

Negotiable rates.

Typical work includes

  • 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry
  • Install windows


  • Doors, door frames

  • Internal and external.
  • UPVC servicing and installation
  • Locksmithing, door repairs,
  • Replacing door furniture
  • All types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
  • Kitchen fitting, kitchen building and minor joinery.

Job Types:
Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Freelance

Contract length: 10 weeks


Salary:
£22.00-£26.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Huntingdon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Joinery: 3 years (required)
  • Carpentry: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS Skilled Worker (required)
  • CL1 clearance (preferred)
