We are committed to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they receive the tailored support they need to thrive academically and personally.


The Role:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work oneonone or in small groups with students with SEN, providing tailored support according to their individual Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and overcoming any barriers to learning.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and the SENCO.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Requirements:


  • Experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting is desirable.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or SEN (desirable but not essential).
  • A commitment to promoting the wellbeing and academic progress of all students.
