My client is a major global Logistics firm who have been established for over 20 years.


They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team and actively promote the services they provide withing Logistics, Freight, Distribution and Warehousing across both the UK and Worldwide.


Job description for Road Freight Business Development Manager

  • Build & maintain a customer base.
  • Have a strong understanding of all services provided.
  • Provide accurate quotations using the inhouse calculator.
  • Keep an uptodate sales pipeline and actively chase your strongest leads.
  • Selfgenerate meetings with potential new customers via Teams or Face to Face.
  • Provide a high level of customer care.

Job skills required for Road Freight Business Development Manager

  • Extensive experience within freight forwarding sales.
  • Ability to generate your own sales leads.
  • Experience managing customer accounts.
  • Experience using Microsoft packages.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding exports.
  • Manage your own diary.
  • Selfmotivated.
  • Ability to build relationships.
