Job Purpose:
Manufacture carpentry & joinery
Bench Hand Joiner - Key Responsibilities Involve:
1. Match materials to requested design specifications
2. Work from drawings to manufacture items & furniture
3. Use power tools and machines to cut and shape wood, and other materials
4. Assemble sturdy & well-constructed furniture using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue
5. Work with company quality procedures & guidelines
6. Work within company Health & Safety procedures
7. Keep workplace safe & tidy
8. Work within a team
9. Any other job deemed by the management
Carpenter Skills and Qualifications:
Carpentry/joinery NVQ or equivalent
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
£15.50-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
