Opportunity Overview:


We are currently working with a FTSE Top 100 Company in West Sussex who are seeking an experienced and driven Data Scientist to join their dynamic team.

As a key member of their Analytics team, you will be responsible for leading data-driven projects andinitiatives that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities include:


  • Develop advanced analytical models and algorithms to extract insights from large and complex data sets
  • Maintain and improve our machine learning pipelines, processes and products
  • Use tools and languages such as Python, SQL and Tableau for reporting and analysis on our AWS data platform
  • Communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

Requirements:


  • Strong experience with statistical programming languages such as R or Python
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques such as supervised and unsupervised learning, natural language processing, and deep learning
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering)
  • PhD or MS in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field is a plus
