We are recruiting on behalf of our customer, a leading organisation in the industry, to find a dynamic and experienced Head of Building Consultancy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join their team and lead the Building Consultancy division. As the Head of Building Consultancy, you will be responsible for the overall operation and management of the division, including profitability, strategic progress,


Responsibilities:


Lead and manage a high-performing team, setting strategies and goals for the division, and ensuring the team has the necessary resources to deliver efficient and effective services to clients.

Act as an inspiring leader, promoting a culture of high performance and regular communication within the team.
Serve as an Ambassador for the company, promoting their Vision & Values both internally and externally.
Achieve the division's fee targets and personal objectives, delivering expert advice to clients.
Identify and generate new business opportunities for the division and the wider company, contributing to expansion efforts.
Provide guidance on complex instructions, demonstrating problem-solving skills in challenging scenarios.
Ensure compliance and drive process improvement, ensuring all division members have the required skills for their roles.
Collaborate with the Head of Consultancy and other divisions within the Consultancy group across the organisation.


Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:

Degree-level education, ideally complemented by full membership of the RICS (MRICS/FRICS).

Broad and extensive knowledge of theories and practices within the building consultancy field, with an understanding of wider business impacts.

Proven experience in resolving major problems within a business function.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and communicate strategies effectively.
Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams.
Strong business development skills and a proven ability to generate new opportunities.
Experience in delivering expert advice to clients in complex residential, commercial, and other sector projects.

£70,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
