Job purpose

Main duties and responsibilities

1

Design and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the individual needs and learning styles of the student.

Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning gaps.

Provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions to address specific academic challenges and reinforce key concepts.

Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to ask questions and seek clarification

Regularly assess and track students' progress to gauge the effectiveness of interventions.

Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to communicate progress and discuss strategies for improvement

Develop and curate educational materials, resources, and tools to enhance the learning experience

9

Utilise a variety of teaching aids, technology, and interactive activities to make lessons engaging and effective

10

Modify teaching methods and strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.

Stay informed about educational trends, best practices, and curriculum updates to continuously enhance instructional approaches

Maintain open and transparent communication with students, parents, and school staff regarding progress, challenges, and goals.

Collaborate with teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom instruction and support overall academic development.

Encourage a positive attitude towards learning and help students build confidence in their academic abilities, whilst Instingl a passion for knowledge and curiosity, promoting a lifelong love of learning
