MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Location:
Current hybrid arrangement - place of work is Head Office, Liverpool Street, London. Currently 2 days per week in the office and the remainder, worked remotely from home.
Reporting to:
Director of Communications

- We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic person to raise the profile of Ruth Miskin Training, share valuable content, ensure our website, social media and comms are clear and uptodate and market our training and support to schools._
Essential skills and qualities
- Highly organised, efficient scheduler
- Great attention to detail
- Manage workload and prioritise based on urgency and importance
- Commitment to inclusivity and diversity
- Clear communicator, confident and concise writer
- A team player
- Confident with excel spreadsheets
- Understanding of SEO improving leads and traffic by conducting research and analysing SEO trends
- Awareness of GDPR
- Confident with WordPress website building and editing, Photoshop, media studio
Social media
- Create and schedule content and quote cards
- Evaluate analytics
- Liaise with filming team to provide film clips
- Follow TES, The Guardian, BBC, Schools Week, Ofsted and DfE for content to share
- Identify archived posts to repost
- Track users that tag RMT/RWI and retweet
- Monitor competitors' social media
Website content
- Build and edit new pages
- Add content to newsfeed on website and portal
- Keep quotes/testimonials and news up to date
- Liaise with filming team re valuable content
- Improve SEO
Digital campaigns
- Create campaigns to promote awareness of our training using Mailchimp
- Liaise with training coordinators weekly to market regional trainings
- Coordinate with OUP re new publishing and OUP campaign timelines
- Set up and market free taster events via Eventbrite
Diversity and inclusion
- Add comms to internal homepage
- Keep booklist up to date with images
- Schedule book posts to social media
- Run diversity calendar
Create case studies and testimonial content
- Contact schools with surveys/questionnaires, case studies and testimonials
- Proofread and design case studies once written by Director of Communications
- Contact schools re photos, SM handles, permissions for publishing
- Add recent Ofsted reports to success stories page with quotes
- Monitor evaluations after trainings
- Add testimonials to channels
YouTube
- Add content to YouTube and create playlists
- Work with Oxford University Press to maximise views
Internal comms
- Add content to markcomms and diversity internal homepage
General
- Send monthly newsletter to subscribers
- Ensure all images from schools have permission to publish
- Keep spreadsheet of all marketing films and content on RMT channels.
