This is a family run business looking for a Traffic Planner to take responsibility for traffic planning of routes and scheduling delivery times, ensuring that we provide customers a great service in a cost effective and timely manner.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop relationships with customers & drivers
  • Prioritise and coordinate workloads
  • Plan ahead
  • Strong organisation skills for planning schedules, journeys, and loads
  • Ability to work within a small family team and on your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels
  • A good understanding of transport regulations currently in force
  • Previous experience is required
Saturday hours would be required

Salary to be discussed at interview.


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Rotherham, S63 6EX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
