HLTA's required.Are you a Level 3 teaching assistant looking for career development and a new challenge in a new role? Do you have a passion for supporting SEN pupils? Then read on.
We are currently recruiting for dynamic SEN HLTA's/ for a specialist secondary SEN school in South East London.You will be required to support and teach pupils with ASD, speech and language difficulties, severe developmental delay and complex needs.
This is a class based role & you will be required to work Monday to Friday, term time only.We are looking for a dynamic SEN HLTA that is;
- Able to coteach, lead and support pupils under the guidance of the teacher
- Direct the work of other LSA's when required
- Able to consistently engage pupils patiently through praise, direction and individual support.
- You should have a minimum of 1 years experience as a teaching assistant
- You should hold a Level 3 teaching assistant qualification (OR hold an equivalent childcare qualification/ or have a diploma/ degree with relevant experience)
- Experience of supporting SEN pupils within either a mainstream or SEN school
- Following a successful 12 week placement through SEN Central you will have the opportunity to interview for a full time position at the school
- Full time salary (£21k to£28K dependent on experience and qualifications)

Our client is a specialist SEN school supporting SEN pupils age Pupils have complex, low incidence special educational needs.
The school offers a number of enrichment programmes and activities for pupils. The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is very well resourced and managed. You will be joining a committed and talented team.

£87.00-£110.00 per day
