What is the Quality Support Industrial Placement Programme?
We're recruiting for students to join HPC within our Quality Support Team. Our Quality Support Team provides companywide support, reporting and analysis on the Integrated Management System and supporting software.
As part of this key team, you will engage with all members of HPC.
You'll fulfil 3 main objectives:
- Engage with Programme Quality Leads and Managers to support delivery of specific quality documentation, define and report metrics
- Deliver regular reporting and dashboards to provide key information on our Audit module areas with other business areas
- Engage with external and internal stakeholders on specific business issues to provide insight and understanding to support evidencebased action
Training, development and support for you:
Over this 12-month programme, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist in regulatory interventions, following up with action plans
- Lead on small projects related to company reporting
- Participate in internal and external quality audits, leading to potentially an internal audit qualification
- Liaise and present new initiatives to senior team members
- Develop and maintain process and guidance documentation in line with company compliance policy, internal controls and data protection legislation.
Where you'll work:
This placement will be based in Bridgewater, with the flexibility of utilising the flexible working policy, the local office to Bridgewater is the SDC.
What you'll need to apply:
- On track to achieve or will have already achieved a 2:2 undergraduate degree or 2:2 postgraduate qualification in any discipline with a data element, Engineering or Business.
- Very strong numerical and analytical skills
- Experience of generating reporting and analytics based on customer requirements
- Accuracy and attention to detail

What salary and benefits are we offering you?
- Starting salary of £21,100 or £23,100 if you are based within one of the Greater London Boroughs.
