Attention all qualified and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistants A Primary School in Stretford is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced TA to support children with special needs in the classroom.

We have a dedicated and experienced team of teachers, TAs, and specialists who work together to provide the best possible educationand support for our students.

Our school is equipped with modern facilities and resources, including sensory rooms and interactive technology, to help students with special needs succeed.


As a Special Needs TA at our school, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all students have access to the education and support they need to succeed.

You will work closely with the class teacher and other specialists to plan and deliver lessons, andprovide one-on-one assistance to students with a range of special needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons that are inclusive and tailored to the needs of students with special needs
  • Supporting individual students with special needs, including those with autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, by providing oneonone assistance, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to teachers
  • Collaborating with other TAs, teachers, and specialists such as speech therapists, occupational therapists and psychological to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students by promoting positive behavior, and providing emotional and social support
  • Preparing materials and resources for classes and individuals, such as visual aids and sensory materials
  • Participating in team meetings, staff development, and parentteacher conferences
  • A relevant qualification in special needs education, such as a CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with special needs and a good understanding of different special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to support students, with a good sense of humor and a flexible approach
  • A desire to continue learning and developing your skills and knowledge in the field of special needs education
