Description
Our client is looking for a Marketing & Events Support Specialist on a permanent, staff basis, located in Aberdeen.


ROLE


The purpose of the Marketing & Events Support Specialist is to cultivate the highest level of bespoke value-added service to our existing and prospective clients.

They will provide comprehensive assistance to the Financial Education and Marketing Lead in executing marketing strategies and organising impactful events.

This role will also include executing client servicing, database management and client communications.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing:

  • Work with the Financial Education & Marketing Lead to develop and implement the Practice's marketing strategy and annual marketing plan that strengthens relationship with existing clients and attracts prospective new clients
  • Social Media content creation based on the marketing plan
  • Use of design software on a regular basis to create marketing materials including invitations and advertisements
  • Deliver agreed marketing campaigns on an ongoing basis and followingup on potential leads
  • Update website by liaising with SJP when appropriate

Events:

  • Work with the Financial Education & Marketing Lead to create unique and effective events for the company
  • Attend and host events as necessary
  • Plan and organise company calendar of events with Leadership team and advisers
  • Follow up with guests attending events for feedback and potential meetings
  • Ongoing tracking of ROI including client referrals and new business generated because of client events
  • Strong awareness of relevant local events and networks

Client Servicing:

  • Undertake client calls to schedule regular review appointments with financial advisers and manage diaries accordingly.
  • Produce and distribute effective internal and external communications for the practice.
  • Accurate data input to CRM system and proactively analyse data to deliver excellent client service and high client satisfaction.
  • Ensure advisers complete and document quality client meetings in accordance with the practice policy and targets.
  • Plan, manage & execute client surveys.
  • Support the Leadership Team with client service strategy and processes.
  • Keep up to date with local business news and help build partnerships and identify opportunities

General:

IT SKILLS
We expect that the Marketing & Events Specialist will be an expert user of the following:

  • Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Social Media Platforms conversant
  • Canva or similar design software
  • CRM experience / database
