    Overview

    We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team to cover Maternity leave, The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage and lead activities, and a genuine love for nurturing young minds. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow.

    Duties

    • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
    • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
    • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
    • Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of progress.
    • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times.
    • Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development.
    • Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and support children's individual needs.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to manage daily operations smoothly.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
    • Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
    • A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.
    • Commitment to safeguarding children's wellbeing and adhering to all regulatory standards
    • Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education are essential.
