    Description

    Junior Vulnerability Analyst

    This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic security solutions team in which you will be responsible for the vulnerability management and delivery of a client security programme.

    You must have a passion for IT security as well as a desire to deliver a high-quality service to our client.

    This role requires a solid knowledge of networking and cloud security concepts and a passion for IT security.

    • Conduct routine reviews of remediation policies and provide inputs for quarterly updates.
    • Monitor changes to remediation and scan policies, reporting inconsistencies or concerns to the lead.
    • Support the gap analysis of remediation policies by gathering data and identifying discrepancies.
    • Analyse scanning outputs to identify vulnerabilities not captured by remediation policies.
    • Ensure updates to remediation and scan policies follow established change management procedures.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The successful candidate will be expected to:

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of security best practices and industry trends.
    • Identify and mitigate potential security risks through regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures into business operations.
    • Provide expert guidance on security-related matters to clients and internal stakeholders.

    We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

    Requirements:

    To be considered for this role, you will need:
