A.C. Whyte and Co. Ltd have ambitious plans for the future and we are actively growing our team.Our Finance team is actively seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join the business on a fixed term contract basis.
We are looking for a professional Finance Assistant to join our expanding team who has a wealth of experience within their discipline.
It is crucial that our 'Quality as Standard' ethos is reflected in all areas of our business therefor it is pivotal for the success of this role that you have attention to detail.

Essential Skills- Have the ability to process invoices and payments. There is a high volume of data entry in this position therefor the ability to work at pace with competing priorities is essential.
- Competently complete bank reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Assist with all month end processes and data input.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate invoicing.
- Process colleague expenses and credit card reconciliation within company policy
- Engage with external stakeholders to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience of Sage accounts and Sage payroll
- Experience within the construction industry would be advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
