HR Administrator (initial Temp contract - 6 Months)


Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in HR administration? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team for a 6-month temporary assignment.

As a HR Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in various areas, ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions.


Key Responsibilities:


Recruitment:


  • Assist in managing agency CVs.
  • Ensure correct Job Descriptions and adverts are effectively communicated.
  • Set up interviews and provide valuable feedback.
  • Manage DBS and security checks through the Sterling Portal.

Contractors:


  • Prepare contracts, review expiry dates, and collaborate with Project Managers to determine contract extensions.
  • Ensure IR35 Determination Assessment is carried out, logged, and valid to Scope of Work.
  • Align Purchase Orders with Scope of Work/proposals.
  • Perform internal IR35 contract reviews and audits, ensuring all documentation is received from contractors.
  • Provide HSE and company induction support.

Administration:


  • Collect onboarding information.
  • Conduct competency checks and validate certificates.
  • Prepare an induction program and schedule meetings for new starters.
  • Oversee the alignment of business IT equipment during onboarding, working closely with the IT department.
  • Update and schedule training with the purchase order, maintaining the training matrix.
  • Handle letters of invitation for visitors coming into the country and assist with visa administration for working abroad (awareness of Right to Work is essential).

We'd love to speak to people with

  • Previous experience in HR administration is a plus.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with HR software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range & Benefits

  • Competitive rate of approximately £13 £14 per hour
  • Hybrid working
  • Early finish on a Friday
