Description
As a clinical Support worker in cardiorepiratory Investigations your main role is to support the echocardiography service. Support is needed with Transthoracic echo, Transoesophageal echocardigraphy and agitated saline echocardiography.


Set up the room for the investigations, prepare the patient and equipment for the test, Support any patient needs, cannulate when required.


  • Set up the examination room for Echo, TOE and agitated saline investigations,
  • Assist the patient to get ready for the test
  • Input patient deltails in to the equipment for the test,
  • Prepare Scopes when required
  • Support any patient needs to dress/undress
  • Height, weight
- cannulate when required.
