Credit Control Assistant - Bath

TSR Legal have partnered with a national Legal 100 firm who now have a brand-new opportunity for a Credit Control Assistant to join their Bath offices.

This is a key role within the team and one that will see you provide support to the Credit control department to ensure the smooth running of the credit control process by:
reducing debtor days
supporting internal clients on financial related matters
helping to improve the cash flow position of the firm


The Role:

Ensuring clients are chased on a daily basis in accordance with the firms payment terms
Liaising with fee earners across the firm to ensure you have the correct files and information for chasing/reminding external clients
Providing administrative support to the team
Producing statements of accounts to external clients and respond to any requests
Responding to client enquires relating to their invoices
Regular correspondence with clients to recover outstanding invoices
Any other duties as requested by the Senior Credit Control Manager or Credit Control Supervisor


This role would suit those who have:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths & English
Previous experience in a customer facing role (face to face or over the phone)
Previous experience within a credit control or debt recovery role
Basic understanding of credit control process
Client focused - considering internal & external clients' needs at all times
Ability to deal with clients over the phone with confidence
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Extremely well organised with the ability to work to regular deadlines
Experience within Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Database packages
Problem solving - dealing with day-to-day issues and resolving appropriately
