Key duties:

Provide analysis of the supplier base to categorise spend according to strategic and operational requirements
Assist in the roll out of a purchasing system
Develop relationships with employees, managers and directors involved in the supply chain, to understand business requirements
Work in collaboration with employees in the tendering/negotiation/post contract award implementation phases to improve goal delivery

What you'll need

Experience

Experience within a purchasing officer or similar role previously
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
Understanding of supply chain procedures
Solid analytical skills with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
Negotiation skills
