What you'll do


The Strategy Execution team is accountable to the UK CEO/Board for enabling the effective and efficient execution of Vodafone UK's (VFUK) strategy, including enterprise-wide delivery performance.


The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) team, which will support agile and traditional methodologies, sits centrally within VFUK and is the information hub for projects and programmes.

The EPMO is vital for ensuring the enterprise-wide investment roadmap is delivered in line with stakeholder expectation and maximising value to the organisation.

It is also responsible for providing valuable insight to the executive leadership team to enable informed decision making.

Its duties involve establishing the enterprise-wide delivery framework to enable tracking and reporting, assurance and quality control, information management, financial tracking, risk and issue tracking, change control, support, and capacity planning.


Reporting to the Senior EPMO Manager, the Enterprise PMO Lead will be responsible for ensuring effective governance is in place across the VFUK portfolio and will be responsible for escalating key risks, issues, or gaps in governance and contributing to the continuous improvement of our tools and processes.

They will be responsible for delivering high standard reporting and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand the delivery health of our projects and programmes.


Key Accountabilities include:

  • Work with the EPMO team to ensure compliance of overarching delivery processes
  • Project & Programme governance and delivery assurance
  • Engage with business stakeholders and resource owners to understand capacity bottlenecks and proposed mitigation
  • Provide management insight on project delivery health (risks, issues, change, etc.) at an enterprise level
  • Continuously improve processes and tools to support effective delivery

Who you are

  • Experienced Enterprise PMO and delivery management professional
  • Subject Matter Expert: PMO, Project, Programme & Portfolio Management, Continuous Process Improvement
  • The credibility necessary to engage stakeholders from across the organisation
  • Ability to flex between the strategic and the operational
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence
  • High level of energy and flexibility to get things done and thrive in a fastpaced, agile, teamoriented environment
