Newham
3-month contract
£25 an hour

Job Purpose:

  • To manage a team of response repairs operatives and planner to ensure that we plan, allocate, and manage repair requests from residents, carried out by the team of trade operatives or subcontractors allocated to the work stream.
  • Responsible for the daytoday management of a repairs team and planner (cover for others as required), with a team of up to 20 multidisciplined operatives per trade work stream, allocating work, inputting data for payroll, performance, invoicing, and legislationpurposes across responsive maintenance.
  • To manage the delivery of responsive maintenance services across the portfolio of our stock of 20,000 properties Including 6,400 leaseholders, public buildings, and commercial units. Leading and motivating the activities of an operational team to achievecorporate KPI's within approved budgets, timescales, and specification.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Experience of the Building Maintenance industry and legislation, preferably to SMSTS level.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety legislation that is applicable to the industry.
  • An understanding of maintenance computing systems, including Service Connects, Northgate and TASK systems an advantage.
  • Full UK driving license.
