GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT

This primary school are looking for an aspiring teacher who has a passion to work with children within education.MAIN RESPONSABILTIES
- Supervise and provide particular support for identify students, in 1:1, group or whole class of situations, ensuring their safety and access to learning
- Assist in the development of appropriate resourcing, schemes of work and teaching strategies
- Working alongside the primary teacher to ensure the support for each identified student's learning needs
- Provide detailed and regular feedback to teacher on student's achievement, progress and needs
- Promoting in class engagement and good behaviour
- Working 1:1 with a child who is challenging
- Work closely with the SENCO leader
ABOUT THE ROLE
- A relevant degree or TA qualification
- Recent or previous experience working with children
- Are reliable and hold a great attendance and punctuality record
- Strong/Good knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Understand how to work with SEN pupils
- Clear Enhanced DBS check (Update service)
