Are you a qualified level 2 or 3 early years practitioner, holding a Forest School Level 3 qualification, looking for a unique opportunity to join and help create a Forest Preschool and develop it into a Forest School provision for all children in the school?

Horning Primary currently has 35 children on roll and is located in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in a beautifully quiet and remote site - surrounded by fields on all sides.

The grounds of the school are a mix of wooded areas and open grassland - perfect for the development of a Forest School provision.

Your role will be to assist with a seamless transition of an established preschool, whilst it's developed into a Forest School setting, eventually expanding the provision to the rest of the school, allowing all children regular opportunities to take part in Forest School activities.

Typical duties will include preparing play activities, supporting children in their play and learning and maintaining up-to-date learning stories on Tapestry.

You will also be expected to work within the relevant legislation, policies and procedures of the Preschool in order to keep the children safe.

Coastal Together are a group of schools working towards a common aim to create children who are Global Citizens, able to understand their immediate locality yet be part of a wider world.

We want to support this development with the potential of expanding it to our other schools.

Coastal Together takes your CPD very seriously.

One of our Headteachers is non-school based, and their role as Head of Teaching and Learning, Standards and CPD (HoTL) across the six schools, supports the development of our curriculum alongside our Heads of School and their school teams.

Our HoTL has the time to research into the latest and most effective pedagogies which develop our forward thinking curriculum and staff team.

Working in small schools can sometimes feel isolating but at Coastal Together we plan and learn together across the federation, facilitated by our HoTL.

This, amongst other support takes the form of skeleton lesson plans and highly resourced planning packs which help to reduce teacher's workload and allow them more time to concentrate on innovative teaching.

We also used this joined-up approach to assess and moderate children's work, allowing us to all learn and improve our practice together.

We also offer personalised CPD for all of our teachers and support staff, no matter what their level of experience.

Our Training Suite used for all off-site training is based at Horning Primary, equidistant between our schools.
