We are delighted to be assisting our client, a successful accountancy and business advisory firm based in Sheffield, to find an experienced Payroll professional to join the team.

This part-time opportunity is for approximately 3 days per week, including hybrid working.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the role will include:


  • Running endtoend payroll for the firm's clients, both weekly and monthly
  • Ensuring client employees are paid accurately to company terms and requirements
  • Ensuring the correct tax treatment of client employees
  • Processing payroll calculations
  • Administering SSP, SMP, SPP, PAYE, NI and year end procedures
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records
  • Preparing and issuing pay statements in accordance with the agreed timescales
  • Producing paperwork to support pension payments
  • Preparing payroll reports and updates where required
  • Analysing and resolving pay queries, providing information as required
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships
  • Adhering to the utmost confidentiality.
  • Endtoend payroll experience from a highvolume, fastpaced, professional environment, ideally within bureau payroll
  • IT confident
  • Excellent communication skills, able to confidently liaise at all levels
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, accurate and efficient in approach
  • Dedicated to customer service excellence.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 21-24 per week


Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
