    Description and requirements:
Our infrastructure team brings its design, build and refurbishment expertise to complex projects across the country.

We form strong partnerships with clients and communities to deliver major infrastructure improvements like HS2, Crossrail and the M25 widening.


To build on our previous successes we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Planner to work with the planning manager to develop, maintain and update the project programme.

Work closely with the site team and our suppliers, clearly communicating the programme strategy, leading short-term programming and analysing the programme outputs to introduce efficiencies and eliminate waste


You will:


  • Assist in maintaining and updating main project programme, performance indicators and progress records, deliver collaborative planning and shortterm programmes and prepare programme submission documents
  • Work with project team and suppliers to produce and maintain collaborative lookahead programmes that align with the main programme
  • Maintain programme and interpret outputs, then work with the project team to identify and implement solutions, drive efficiencies, eliminating waste and reasons for delay
  • Communication of the programme to our customers in a style that suits their needs
  • Assist with the development of planners and assistant planners

We're Looking For:


  • Construction experience and technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques and best practices
  • Understanding of various forms of construction documents, contracts and specifications
  • Experience in both design and construction phase planning ideally whilst working for a construction contractor
  • Experience of various methods of planning, programming and progress monitoring
  • Degree/HND/HNC in Construction / Engineering
