The role


The Customer Success Executive role is a hybrid sales & support phone-based role, selling support contract renewals to existing/expired software users, as well as uncovering additional software opportunities through outbound telephone campaigns to existing clients.

You'll also be supporting the Customer Success Manager with technical support queries and triaging the level of support required alongside other customer success team members.


  • Renew support contracts with existing & expired support customers
  • Develop additional software sales opportunities from outbound call campaigns
  • Cover support call overflow and triage technical support queries


You will have experience of data management, excellent administration skills, experience managing inbound/outbound calls as well as identifying sales opportunities with selling to existing customers.


The day-to-day duties

  • The Customer Success Executive will manage and maintain existing customer support contracts. They will work from a scheduled call list generated from our CRM system to call and discuss ongoing costs and close up business to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly company and personal targets. Maintain a healthy CRM by cleaning and updating contact details.
  • The role will also include outbound call campaign activity, to generate additional business. This will involve opening up a conversation to identify other product needs and requirements and subsequently pass to the team of Account Managers for software demonstrations, trials and follow ups.
  • It will also involve overflow of inbound calls to our dedicated support line, identifying the technical nature of the call. This could then result in you dealing with the issues if not specifically technical or raise a technical call back or login with the Customer Success Manager.


All 3 duties require the management of data for clients (new and existing) in our CRM systems, ensuring all communication is logged and customer records are accurate.


Your skills

  • You must be articulate, demonstrate good verbal, personable and written communication skills.
  • You must be comfortable with volume calling to build sales opportunity pipeline for yourself and the team. Targeted to making a minimum of 3040 outbound calls per day.
  • You should be able to open up and develop a business conversation to identify pain points to match software benefits.
  • A level of good IT knowledge on the Microsoft Windows platform with the ability to problem solve and offer clear and concise instructions.

Hours
37.5 hours per week

9.00AM - 5.00PM

Hybrid role working from an office two days a week, three from home

30 mins for lunch


Salary & OTE
£23,000 p.a + Uncapped commission and incentives
