Description
The responsibilities of a podiatrist in this role include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, providing specialist input within their area of expertise, promoting self-management for daily activities, and being part of a team providing high-quality clinical care.
- They will also be responsible for developing and implementing care packages to prevent ulcers for patients with a variety of conditions
- Additionally, they will manage their own caseload, including providing specialist care to patients with diabetes, rheumatological and biomechanical issues.
- They will also contribute to the development and adherence to department and trust policies, strategies, and objectives.
Requirements Of The Podiatrist
- Qualified podiatrist
- Studied and based in South Africa.
- At least 12 months recent experience within podiatry.
- Registered with HCPC UK(Not required but beneficial)
Salary:
£27,055.00-£32,934.00 per year
