Our client, a Financial Services organisation, are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to lead on People Development across the business.
The successful person will support the HR team, colleagues, and Senior Leadership team with their trainingand development needs.This role would suit someone who is looking to put their stamp on Learning & Development in a SME business.
You will have the autonomy to shape the training function to suit business needs and to develop internal talent.Key responsibilities of the Learning & Development Specialist:
- Take full responsibility for Learning & Development in the business including updating existing training material, content creation and training delivery
- Organising and coordinating internal training events
- Organising external training as requested by the Head of People or other members of the Leadership Team
- Working to develop learning content to be used internally
- Reviewing training requirements with the Head of People
- Carrying out capability assessments across the organisation
- Driving a culture of continuous professional development (CPD)
- Support in the delivery of requirements for the 'people' workstream in respect of Consumer Duty Regulation.
- To keep the computerised HR system up to date with regards to training and development records.
Key requirements for the Learning & Development Specialist:
- Experience of working in a financial services environment would be preferable however is not essential
- Experience of Learning & Development is essential for this role.
- Ability to work independently with autonomy to drive people development within the organisation
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- The ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders
- Positive attitude and selfmotivated
